Invenia Search has partnered with an established global life sciences company to hire a Product Marketing Manager.
The company is looking for someone to take ownership of a scientific portfolio spanning epigenetics and developmental biology. This is a strategic product marketing role, not one that carries out campaigns someone else has planned. The company wants a person who can understand the market, find the biggest opportunities and build the strategy around them.
Role Responsibilities:
You will investigate the market, speak with customers, attend conferences and come back with a clear view of where the opportunity is, who to target and how to position the portfolio.
Own product positioning, messaging and value propositions
Segment the market and identify priority customer groups
Lead Voice of Customer work, and turn customer needs into strategy
Run competitive intelligence and market analysis
Build integrated campaign strategies around key market opportunities
Lead new product launches and go-to-market planning
Work with R&D on customer and product requirements
Develop the core scientific and commercial content behind campaigns
Support customer-facing teams through sales enablement and training
Shape portfolio strategy and identify opportunities for expansion
Work closely with R&D, Product Management, MarCom, Sales and Digital Marketing, especially the scientific teams
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a product marketing or product management professional from life sciences who has owned market strategy, not just executed it.
Experience in product marketing or product management in life sciences
Experience with market strategy and segmentation, positioning and messaging, and Voice of Customer
Experience with product launches, go-to-market strategy and competitive analysis
Experience managing a scientific portfolio
Able to turn complex science into a clear value proposition for customers
A strong scientific foundation. You do not need to be an epigenetics expert
A PhD is preferred but not essential. A relevant Master's with strong industry and product experience will be considered
Product managers looking to move further into product marketing are welcome to apply, particularly if they have already owned market strategy, positioning, customer insight and launches.
Sound Interesting? If you want real ownership of a scientific portfolio and the freedom to decide where it goes next, we would like to hear from you. Apply today.
