POSTED
Invenia Search has partnered with an early-stage clinical genomics software company to hire a Frontend Engineer (React). This role is fully remote. The candidate must be based in Europe.
The company is building AI-powered software that helps genomics labs turn sequencing data into clinical reports, starting in oncology. Sequencing a tumour is fast, but turning that data into a report an oncologist can act on still takes hours of expert work per case. The company's software gives that time back to the lab, and it is already running in clinical labs today. It is well funded, its leadership team comes from global diagnostics and pharma, and it is now building its core engineering team. This is one of the first key hires.
Role Responsibilities:
Clinical scientists use this product every day to review complex genomic data and sign off reports. You will own what they see and how it works.
Own the frontend of the product end to end, from idea through to production and beyond
Design and build the interfaces clinical scientists use to review genomic data and sign off reports
Turn dense, high-stakes information into clear, fast workflows
Work directly with genomics experts and lab users to understand what they need, and shape the product around it
Help set the frontend architecture, design standards and engineering culture as the team grow
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a frontend engineer with strong React experience who can also shape how the product looks and feels.
Solid commercial experience building with React
A strong eye for UI and UX. There is no designer on the team, so the interface decisions are yours
Experience building data-heavy applications such as dashboards, review tools or complex workflows
Able to ship when requirements are still unclear, and to keep owning what you build
Comfortable working independently, fully remote and mostly async, with clear written communication
Happy to work across the stack when needed, including Python and Kubernetes
Helpful but not required: experience in healthcare, life sciences or regulated software, an AI-first way of working, or time as a founding or early-stage engineer
There is no layer of product managers, designers, QA or meetings here. The team uses AI across the whole development cycle, so your time goes on design and judgement rather than routine work.
Sound Interesting? If you want to own the user experience of software used in clinical labs to support cancer patient care, with meaningful equity, regular team offsites and a small team where your impact is visible from day one, we would like to hear from you. Apply today.
