Field Service Manager

Invenia Search has partnered with a leading global scientific solutions organisation, with an 80-year history, to hire a Field Service Manager for Belgium with regional responsibility across Benelux. You will lead a respected team of engineers working on complex scientific and medical equipment in a region that is growing quickly.

Role Responsibilities:

You will lead and develop the Belgian field service team over the next phase of growth, setting priorities and keeping performance on track while staying close to customers and engineers in the field.

• Lead a team of seven field engineers across Belgium, with potential to also manage the Netherlands

• Set direction, manage performance and give the team what they need to deliver

• Stay hands-on with customers and engineers – this is not a desk role

• Manage KPIs, dashboards, process improvements and service delivery standards

• Handle difficult conversations when needed and keep the region aligned and focused

• Support a smooth leadership transition and help shape the next phase of the Benelux organisation

• Work closely with technical, commercial and operational teams to keep service quality and customer satisfaction high

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced service leader who knows how to get the best out of a technical field team.

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or Senior Team Lead managing complex field service operations

• Strong experience with scientific, medical or other high-complexity equipment

• The ability to make quick decisions, prioritise effectively and keep multiple regions moving

• Confidence with KPIs, dashboards and continuous improvement

• Comfortable balancing strategic goals with hands-on field work

• Dutch and English required; French is a plus

• Based in Belgium (strong preference) or the Netherlands, with regular travel of around three days a week (1–1.5 weeks per month)
