Chief Commercial Officer

Invenia Search has partnered with a fast-growing, science-led ingredients company to hire a Chief Commercial Officer. You will be responsible for building and scaling the company's global commercial organisation, taking its ingredient and bioactive solutions from early traction to repeatable, high-value growth.

Role Responsibilities:

You will own the commercial strategy and build a go-to-market organisation spanning enterprise sales, key accounts, partnerships, marketing and customer success.

• Set the commercial strategy, go-to-market design and annual revenue and margin targets

• Lead enterprise sales, strategic accounts and major partnerships

• Shape pricing, deal governance and segmentation to deliver predictable, scalable revenue

• Bring discipline to pipeline management, forecasting and revenue operations

• Hire and develop a high-performing commercial team

• Drive demand generation, brand visibility and market expansion

• Turn the company's science into clear value propositions that win global customers

• Work closely with Product, R&D and Scientific Affairs to make sure innovation is led by the market

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a proven commercial leader who has taken breakthrough ingredients or bioactive solutions from early traction to scaled growth.

• CCO (or equivalent) experience in ingredients, food tech, biotech or pharma

• A track record of scaling commercial organisations in VC- or PE-backed businesses

• Deep enterprise sales experience, including originating and negotiating major deals

• Strong digital go-to-market capability across segmentation, analytics, sales velocity and ROI

• Proven ability to build teams, playbooks and processes that scale globally

• Executive presence and the ability to explain complex science clearly and persuasively

• A strong communicator and trusted partner to senior stakeholders, comfortable in a fast-moving business
