Business Operations Associate

Invenia Search has partnered with an early-stage clinical genomics software company to hire a Founders Associate (Strategy and Operations Associate). This role is fully remote - the candidate must be Europe-based.

DNA sequencing is now fast and affordable, and it plays a growing part in cancer care, rare disease and other areas. The hard part is interpretation. Turning a patient's genetic data into a clear, reliable report a doctor can act on still takes specialists hours of manual research per case. The company's AI software gathers and summarises the relevant scientific and clinical evidence, so lab experts can spend their time on the medical decisions. It is already live with diagnostic labs, starting in oncology, and the team is now growing.

Role Responsibilities:

This is a graduate or early-career role. You will learn directly from the founders and play an active part in building the business.

• Work alongside the founders on strategic projects and help put plans into action

• Support finance work such as budgeting, reporting and liaising with the external accountants

• Help with recruitment, onboarding and day-to-day operations

• Build reports and dashboards that show how the business is performing

• Use AI and automation tools to make everyday work simpler and faster

• Help keep the company organised and compliant in a regulated medical field, including EU IVDR, the AI Act and GDPR

• Take on new projects as the company grows and priorities change

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants broad experience in a start-up.

• A degree in business, engineering, life sciences, medicine or a similar field

• Recently graduated or early in your career

• Organised, analytical and comfortable working with numbers

• Proactive, someone who takes initiative and follows things through

• Interested in genomics, precision medicine and AI. You don't need a scientific background, just a willingness to learn

• Internships, student projects, societies or anything you've started yourself all count
