Business Development Manager

Invenia Search has partnered with a well-regarded, early-stage life sciences company to hire a Business Development Manager for its West Coast territory. With validated technology and strong market traction, the company is entering a new phase of commercial growth and expanding its presence across the BioPharma and CRO markets.

Role Responsibilities:

This is an individual contributor role focused on winning new business and developing strategic pharma, biotech and CRO accounts across the West Coast.

• Drive new business across pharma, biotech and CRO accounts

• Develop and expand customer relationships across discovery biology, assay development, translational research, pathology and imaging teams

• Support customers through evaluation, adoption and long-term account growth

• Work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to help customers succeed

• Help shape territory strategy and contribute to long-term commercial expansion

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a self-motivated life science sales professional with a strong record of winning new business in pharma and biotech.

• Proven life science sales experience selling reagents, consumables, imaging platforms or related solutions

• A strong track record with pharmaceutical and large biotech accounts

• Technical knowledge of workflows such as IHC, IF, multiplex imaging, spatial biology, proteomics or antibody-based applications

• Strong ability to prospect, build pipeline and close new business

• Commercially driven and comfortable working independently
