It's been a busy few months at Invenia Search, between the regular Biotech News Updates, company Spotlights, meeting clients, industry events and our recent rebrand and new website launch. Unlike the regular monthly news updates, funding is an occasional feature our Life Science Consultant Katie Davis puts together when time allows. And looking back at July–September, there was plenty worth sharing.

Q3 Themes

AI & computational biology: Significant investment in drug discovery, biological foundation models and protein engineering.

Life science tools: Funding across single-cell technologies, sequencing, computational microscopy and laboratory automation.

Diagnostics: Investment spanning liquid biopsy, molecular diagnostics, microbiome testing and precision oncology.

Therapeutics: Major financings across oncology, radiopharmaceuticals, genetic medicines and immune-mediated diseases.

September was particularly busy, with announcements ranging from early-stage Seed rounds and research grants to substantial late-stage financings and public offerings.
